Many female donkeys rescued from kill shelters are pregnant at the time they are rescued.  This was the case with Maple (see Maple's tale) who gave birth to Seth in 2024.  Unlike so many rescue donkeys, Seth hasn't suffered hunger, cruelty, or mistreatment, and never will.  He is a happy, playful, mischievous youngster.

Seth is the lifeline for his mom Maple and fits in perfectly with all of the other donkeys in the Camp Tails' herd.  Seth loves to play with toys and balls, go on hikes and there is never too much love or attention in his world.  He will follow you around like a puppy and he thinks he is a big helper to anyone doing chores in his vicinity.
